10 PhD positions in a new PhD Programme in Materials Science and Engineering, at Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland

The topics of the PhDs will be related to nano-design of engineering materials for medicine, energy, transport or electronics. A new PhD Programme will be a part of national project: NanoMat.

The project NanoMat is entitled: PWP Interdisciplinary PhD study in materials science and engineering conducted in English language in cooperation with transnational partner and employers, and is realized under Operational Programme in Poland: Human Capital Programme, in cooperation with Technische Universität Dresden.

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, and an outstanding academic performance and research experience. The candidates should have excellent team-working skills and be motivated to work in a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment. Very good oral and written English language skills are also required.

Our Faculty participates in a large number of national and international research projects, which offer the possibility to collaborate with scientists from other disciplines and other countries.
